Great tasting, fresh and local sushi. Quite affordable for what you’re getting - fresh sushi is never going to be dirt cheap at the end of the day. The salmon was particularly nice here Service was great, they spoke English quite well and had an English menu too.

If you ever come to kanazawa city, do drop by this place. One of the best sushi I've ever tasted. The ingredients are all fresh made. Everything is so good and simply taste amazing. They will explain what type of fish they used in their sushi. The hospitality by them was awesome and they can speak well English. No problem in communication. The first time we went there, we couldn't get a seat because it was fully booked. Then we went for the second during lunch hour. After that meal, we decided to go back for dinner and we make reservation. Do take note that reservation for dinner is a must in order to try out their delicious sushi. Simply would love to go back again and eat more of their sushi. Oh btw, their price is reasonable compare to all other sushi restaurants near omicho market. You will know once you're there. Thumbs👍. Had a great time enjoy sushi in this wonderful restaurant. Got ourselves a free gift(beautiful chopsticks) after coming back for second round.

I'll be brutally honest. For the price, it's insane value for dishing out 1000 yen for 10 pieces of sushi. But other than that, i think the place is (a little) overhyped. Maybe you haven't tried the best of the best (by that I meant fresh catch in the morning) in Tsjiki or Toyosu fish market (or any other fish markets for that matter). Anyhow I'm giving it 4 stars because of the showmanship, and the fact they bothered to explain what each sushi is, and the price alone warrants at least one visit especially if you are light on your wallet.

My favourite place to eat in Kanazawa. Mesmerizing sushi. Staff is awesome and smiley. The place is cozy but small, so i wont suggest it for a group of more than 7-8 ppl. If you are interested, don't forget to give a try of their Nodoguro.

Fresh seafood sushi and warm cozy place

One of our favourite meals on our trip to Japan. Service is excellent. There was an English menu and staff were fluent in English (special mention to the waiter with green hair, who took the effort to chat with us). Highly recommended!

Went here due to the good ratings. Paid ¥1000 for 10 pieces of sushi which we thought was great value and it was all delicious. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming and spoke great English. It's quite a small place so we were sat next to some Japanese locals who were friendly and asked us about our holiday, and were just generally very nice people. Would highly recommend this place.

Loved this place! Staff were so friendly and the food was super good. Definitely recommend the tasting plate and the green tea ice cream. Would come again when in Kanazawa! :)

Small corner sushi store with excellent value & amazing quality sushi with such friendly staff. Fatty tuna is especially memorable. Picked the 1000Y (pictured) platter, gives an assortment of 10 sushi, can order others on their own or go for the modestly priced 2200Y for the upper end which includes fatty tuna too.

Excellent sushi, not too expensive. There is room for 10 or so people but the turn around is quick. If you are in Kanazawa, definitely try to get lunch here.

My girlfriend and I went tonight based on the number of positive google reviews and the apparent bang-for-your-buck that the place offered, and let me tell you: our bucks were quite expertly banged. They had a sign up when we got there that they were full with reservations, but they were able to squeeze us in between parties with plenty of leeway. We each got a beer and an order of miso soup, and we shared a veggie roll and the chef's choice of 10 pieces of nigiri for ¥1000 and got out at just over ¥3000. The food was all very tasty, the atmosphere and service were excellent and the staff spoke very good English. A must-visit if you're looking for good food and a good time without breaking the bank. My only suggestion might be to try to get a reservation.

Awesome place near Kanazawa castle. Staff is very nice and sushi very good and reasonably priced. Place caters to tourists mostly but still feels authentic. Highly recommend it.

I got the 5 piece set along with other pieces. The ikura and maguro in particular were excellent. Would recommend just ordering your favorite pieces instead of getting a set if you come here. The chef and his assistant were really friendly and the food was delicious.

One of the best sushi restaurants I've been to. I enjoyed every bite and the staff was very friendly. The place is small and super popular so it is advised to reserve a table.The sushi was fresh and there was a wide variety of options in the menu. Everything we had was delicious but the sweet shrimp was exceptional. There is also a vegetarian sushi roll in the menu and a about 2-3 vegetarian first courses.The value for money is great, about 700-1000 yen for the basic courses and 2200 for the most expensive one-I find this price reasonable. Very nice place.

This place is awesome, and they speak English!!The price is reasonable, meaning is not very cheap, but the quality that you get for what you pay is really good. Get the chef choice if you just want to get sushi, but if you want the best, get a nodoguro sushiI repeat, nodoguro sushi. It is probably the best sushi I've ever had. The fish just melt when you eat it. If you enjoy japanese cuisine, this might be just what you're looking for in KanazawaFor the service, it was really good. The place was comfortable, warm (i went on a winter day), and so homey. I met with 2 staff who handle our table, and both were speaking perfect English. We even have some little chat with one of the staff (Hiro) about his experience living in UK.Overall, I was really happy with the experience that I get. Definitely recommend, and I would come back the next time i visiti KanazawaPs: they even gave us origami crane (orizuru) as souvenir. I don't think thats a standard service tho

Excellent place: friendly staff, good food, fair price and and quiet relaxed atmosphere. We arrived at 12:45 without a reservation and by 13 we had a table. I can only recommend it!

Fresh, no-fuss sushi at an unbeatable price. We went at 11.30am at the store opening hours on a weekday and there was no queue. Make sure to try the fatty tuna!

Nice sushi place for local people and foreign tourists. Tasty food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. You can use their Wi-Fi or charge your phone with provided cables. Credit cards accepted. Waitress will give you a origami swan as a souvenir. Worth trying.

Super friendly staff, and warm atmosphere. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 solely because the sushi is very traditional. Still fresh, but not innovative. The restaurant was all western, which can be nice or a turn off depending on your mood. If you want authentic then try another, if you want safe and comfortable then come here. We enjoyed it for what it was.

We went with the chef's selection of sushi and it was very good. Much better value than the places we looked at in the near by market and the chefs were really friendly guys with some decent English too.

Very delicious Sushi for a reasonable price. Just like other reviewers mentioned before me: Come early or even better, reserve seats before coming. It's a very popular restaurant and doesn't have many seats available, especially on weekends.

Great sushi. In a town full of great sushi it is distracting though to watch TV while being served fantastic fish. The show on the screen had someone wash their dog...

Really nice sushi spot. Its recommended to reserve a table. Spend about 1,500-2,500Â¥ per person for lots of sushi. Loved it.

The freshest in town, and that is saying something. It's also very popular. We booked a week ahead, every night we walked by, there was a sign announcing that all the seats were full the whole night. Still, many hopefuls came in anyway, only to be turned away. They are freindly and their English is good, so don;t worry about called to book a table, it will work out fine.

The staff is great, they speak perfect English and can explain food in italian too. They are super kind and ready to help and assist. The food is great too. And the price is correct for the quality (we spent 46000 yen for a lot of sushi, salmon rolls, grilled mackerel and salmon, sushi octopus and 2 beers). I really suggest you to go! We arrived at 18.15 and when we left at 19 there was a little queue outside, so don't go too late!
